BACKGROUND

My name is Jeni Langdown, and Primary Care Project Management Services is a business I set up when I left my role of Practice Manager after being at the GP practice for 21 years.  I was after a new challenge, and wanted to use my significant knowledge and experience of primary care to support others in areas that they may not have time to focus on in-house.

I began working on a Northumberland-wide Practice Manager programme in 2018 alongside Northumberland LMC, and have since worked on many projects for them for primary care staff.  I have also worked as a locum Practice Manager and a project manager across the county.

I have developed my business over 6 years alongside my employed role as West Northumberland PCN Manager, enabling me to gain further insight into the primary care landscape as it has changed and allowing me to ensure I can develop with it.  I have had great success with the running and managing of the Covid Vaccines sites alongside the PCN.

I worked as the PCN Manager for 4.5 years, providing a central source of leadership, strategic and operational management in order to aid service transformation for the population of 60,000+ patients, while also supporting collaboration of the 10 member practices along with other health, care and community services

I thoroughly enjoy working directly with patients and have successfully completed accredited training in Phlebotomy skills allowing me to further support practices in this area where required.
